Swimming pools tiling
- LEVELLING Levelling (if necessary) with thixotropic cementitious skimming plaster in layers 2 to 10 mm thick, such as RASO or GAP or GAP-R in layers 3 to 30 mm thick, all by Technokolla. Amount required: 1.6-1.7 kg/m2 for every mm of thickness - WATERPROOFING Waterproofing layer made of non-carbonating cementitious two-pack skimming plaster certified as being suitable for waterproofing by Saurefliesner-Vereinigung E.V., such as RASOLASTIK by Technokolla, applied in two coats with a flat trowel for a 3 mm overall thickness, reinforced with FIBERGLASS NETTING in the first coat and with Technokolla’s adhesive STRIP type RL 80 S for sealing corners, edges and expansion joints. Amount required: 2.0 kg/m2 for every mm of thickness - TILE FIXING Pool cladding with ceramic tiles in formats of up to 1100 cm2 or vitreous mosaic fixed with cementitious adhesive able to withstand an alkaline environment, such as AIR-ONE, or TECHNO-ONE or TECHNOMOS (only for fixing vitreous mosaic) by Technokolla, conforming to European standards EN 12004 C2TE (Techno-one and Technomos), and EN 12004 C2TE, EN 12002 S1 (Air-One). Gaps measuring at least 4-5 mm, grouted with two-pack epoxy grouting, such as EPOSTUK or SKYCOLORS, conforming to European standard EN 13888 RG. Expansion joints on a level with changes in gradients and corners sealed with silicone sealant such as ACESIL-310 by Technokolla after the substrate has been prepared with PRIMERSIL primer applied with a brush throughout the entire depth of the joint and with synthetic cord positioned successively. To proceed in the correct way, it is advisable to apply the silicone before cementitious grouting. Amount of adhesive required: AIR-ONE 2.5 kg/m2 TECHNO-ONE 4 kg/m2 TECHNOMOS 3 kg/m2 Amount of grouting required: 1.8 kg/m2 (12x24 cm format, 10 mm gaps) 0.8 kg/m2 (mosaic in the 2x2 cm format, 2 mm gaps) |
