Certifications and quality
All Technokolla's products comply with the strictest
European Standards (EN) when it comes to quality and
safety. The authorities that control the sector are:
Technokolla's adhesives meet the requirements of standards
EN 12004 and EN 12002.

EN12004
This standard divides adhesives into three different categories:
C = cementitious adhesives
D = dispersion adhesives
R = reactive adhesives
Depending on their fundamental characteristics, adhesives are
divided again into:
CLASS 1 = normal adhesives
CLASS 2 = improved adhesives
Moreover, when there are particular additional characteristics,
adhesives are classifi ed as:
F = quick setting adhesives
T = adhesives able to withstand creepage
E = adhesives with a long pot life
The required minimum values are defi ned for each characteristic. |

EN 12002
This standard determines the cross-wise deformation degree of
cementitious sealant adhesives and divides them into:
S1 = flexible adhesives
S2 = highly fl exible adhesives |

EN 13888
Technokolla's grouting products comply with the requirements
established by standard EN 13888. According to this
standard, groutings can either be cementitious (CG) or based
on reactive resins (RG). The cementitious grouting category
is divided into a further two categories, according to precise
characteristics:
Class 1 = cementitious mortar for normal joints
Class 2 = improved cementitious mortar for grouts, i.e.
the highly abrasion resistant type (AR) and the type that
absorbs a low amount of water (W).
Class 2 is superior to class 1 (as to quality). The minimum
values required are defi ned for each characteristic.
